Installations During the spring of 2022 | was brought on board with batwin + robin productions (b + r) to create an immersive experience for Carnival Cruise Line which consisted of approximately 10 minutes of CG design and animation across large format LED screens. The first immersive experience was so positively received by Carnival and their guests that they subsequently requested another longer experiential piece in 2023. My role for both projects consisted of setting the design and animation while working closely with Adam Casini - Principal and Creative Director at b + r. Currents b + r -&nbsp; The focal point of our work in Currents is the show Seaquest: A FunSub Adventure, in which the entire venue transforms into a submarine venturing through the deep and wondrous depths of the ocean. From an undersea Carnival vacation resort to a thrilling encounter with a giant electric eel, the show makes use of original 3D animation, theatrical lighting, music, and dynamic audio design. b+r was responsible for all creative elements including media design, production, scripting, and the original design of Carnival’s newest (fictional) vessel – the FunSub.&nbsp; <img width="1548" height="1032" Xbox and Riot Games new Game Pass.&nbsp; The task was to create a new reveal trailer announcing a collab with Xbox to bring their lineup to Game Pass.&nbsp; Over a few weeks we created a world from scratch to showcase the Riot characters and the new Pass offerings.&nbsp; Building out each cavernous world, texturing, lighting, designing, glowing and cracking our way to the end.&nbsp; It was a pandemic. I was working on concert visuals for a rockband's world tour when COVID threw a wrench into it all and gave me a couple of weeks between jobs to formulate the first short story I've told since my days as a student. As we weren't able to leave our house for what felt like weeks, I daydreamed about future trips to Scotland and the places I would visit. Coupled with my love for miniatures and tilt shift photography, Wee Day Out was born. During the early spring I usually begin to plan my outdoor trips for the summer and autumn but was unable to this year.&nbsp; Out of frustration and a bit of time on my hands I began to craft some intial frames - just for fun.&nbsp; The exhibit needed to thoughtfully tell the story of the Tulsa Massacre from beginning to end.&nbsp; After helping to set an initial overall look, I splintered off to tell the story of the ‘Massacre’ section - the fateful evening when the black residents of Greenwood Tulsa were terrorized, attacked and murdered.&nbsp; This project was design heavy with dozens of styleframes created for all sections, then moving onto creating a fully PBR textured asset library, destruction sims, and 2D/3D animation.&nbsp; While creating the Massacre section I had the pleasure of working with Director Geoff Bailey on the look and animation of the section. As the film carries on the walls of the house crumble down to reveal the insides of each home.&nbsp; From outside the windows you can see torches of mobs and smoke that begins to fill the frame. All elements in the images below I was responsible for hand modeling and texturing.&nbsp; I also helped develop the destruction simulation in the early phases before we hopped over into houdini. <img the story transitions to short vignettes which tell the story in short burts of what happened that night.&nbsp; We tried to keep these stories as figurative as possible showing a glimpse into&nbsp; elements, asset creation, CG workflow, texturing etc.&nbsp; &nbsp;This project had a quick turnaround time and lots of various elements that needed consideration, but with excellent leadership and production we were able to make our way through the project quickly and efficiently.&nbsp; It was a pleasure to work on a CG style that isn’t striving to be realistic, but rather a take on a more Roses World Tour graphics and animations.&nbsp; The tour consisted of a reimagining of their most classic songs as animations that would play behind the band while on stage.&nbsp; My role was to work beside Creative Director Dan Potter and Producer Jeremy Leeor on Double Talkin’ Jive and Welcome to the Jungle.&nbsp; While working with Dan, we finessed the concepts and then I rolled out style frames to help cement the style for production.&nbsp; Both songs required libraries of new textured 3D assets to be designed, mocap to be created, and cloth, smoke and fire simulations.&nbsp; I was
